Aloha Lions Ohana,
Mahalo nui for your understanding with our drop off/pick up today. We had some problems, but we were getting much better as we went. I wanted to clarify some things.
1. If you are dropping off or picking up, please do not exit your vehicle. We will bring your child to your car or take them to their room if they are young.
2. We will be printing out cards for you to put on your dashboards (passenger side please) so we know what name to call out for students to come to your car.
3. Please come in by the cones where I am standing (I'll be there most days for now).
4. Please don't come to early. Most students won't make it to the pickup area until 5 minutes after school and we want traffic to continue to flow. So if you head to school about 5 minutes after the bell it will be smoother for everyone.
5. Please don't U‑turn after picking up your kid. You will have a chance to take a left into the neighborhood or, even better, just go straight and around the long way.
6. As we get better at this we may change details on how we do it. Please be on the lookout for more texts from me.
Mahalo for your support!
Mr. Larkin

Aloha Kindergarten and PreK Parents,
As you know we have changed how we do drop offs/pick ups. This has changed a LOT of what we are doing. We are really going back to the old way (pre‑COVID) of sending our students straight to class after breakfast. Any K or Pre‑K student eating will be escorted from breakfast to their class after eating by staff. Kinder teachers and some support staff will be by the K rooms to keep an eye on them outside of their rooms.
Thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions, please let me know.
