Starting on Monday, April 7, join us for Kalihi Waena's WALKING SCHOOL BUS! Students who live at the Towers of Kuhio Park may join Mrs. Heyler or other school staff to walk to school with them. Please meet at the A-Building elevator. The Walking School Bus leaves and 7:30 am and we will walk to school together safely!

Professional Collaboration Day for our faculty and staff is on Friday, April 4, 2025. There will be NO SCHOOL for students. We will see everyone back on campus, bright and on time on Monday, April 7th.

Our PTA "Gateway/World's Finest" Fundraiser PICK UP is on Thursday, March 27 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm in the cafeteria. Mahalo for your continued support!

If you have a child or know a child who is turning 5 years old by July 31, 2025, register them for Kindergarten at Kalihi Waena's office as soon as possible!

Please join us for an evening of science and discovery at our 2025 Science Fair on Friday, March 7 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm in our cafeteria. Students will be proudly showcasing their projects for their families and share what they've learned. Light refreshements will be served. Students must be accompanied by an adult for this evening event. FREE BOOKS for the first 250 students! Please RSVP via QR Code by Friday, 2/28. See you all soon!

Get ready for some Seuss-tastic fun! Dr. Seuss Birthday Spirit Week is from Monday, Feb 24 to Friday, Feb 28! Check out the daily themes and get ready to celebrate reading! *Participation is optional
