Aloha Lions ‘Ohana,
It’s been a fun Autumn Spirit week seeing so many of our staff and students dressed up! Please remind your child that tomorrow is “Well-Liked Wednesday” which means dress in their favorite character from a TV show, cartoon, movie or book. Then Thursday is “Tailgate Thursday” which is a sports day, ending with our Costume Day on Friday.
I have a few important announcements today:
- Samurai Fundraiser: Your child brought home a Samurai Fundraiser flier and form. There are a lot of tasty options. The money raised will help support our PTA. The fundraiser goes from October 25th - November 4th. Pick-up will be on November 18th from 2:00 - 5:00 pm.
- First Quarter Awards Assembly: Our first quarter awards assembly will be tomorrow, in person. Parents are invited to attend. It will be filmed and then posted on our school website within 48 hours of the event. PreK through 2nd grade will be from 8:15- 9:00 am and 3rd through 5th grade will be from 9:00-9:45 am.
- 10/31 Monday is a Waiver Day and our Panda Express fundraiser: Next week Monday is our Waiver Day so there is no school for students. Our staff will be having professional development. It is also our Panda Express Fundraiser. Please eat at Panda Express at the Kamehameha Shopping Center and support our PTA. Have a Happy Halloween!
- Parent-Teacher Conferences are from 11/1 - 11/9: Our Parent-Teacher conferences are scheduled for 11/1 - 11/9. All students will be released from school at 12:30 pm on those days. Please make sure to sign-up for a meeting with your child’s teacher if you haven’t yet. Mahalo.
