Aloha Lions Ohana,
Tomorrow we welcome back our students for the start of the 3rd quarter. We are looking forward to all students who are feeling well coming back. If, however, they are not feeling well, please keep them home as COVID is surging in our area.
One additional change has happened with regard to COVID procedures. The state has adopted the new CDC guidelines for returning to school with a major change of isolation and quarantine going down to 5 days vs. the original 10 days. Please read the flyer with the latest guidelines at bit.ly/doereturn . One thing that does not seem to have changed is that home tests do not qualify as an official test yet, so clearance tests must still be done at official testing sites.
I will give more detailed information later this week as soon as all the new procedures the state has come out with are clarified. Until then, keep strong Lions. We will get through this together because, We are the Lions. We are the Future!
