Aloha Lions Ohana,
Wow! That first week FLEW by! We are so thankful to have all of our Keiki back with us, safe, and ready to learn. I have just a few reminders for you today.
- Our first fundraiser is this upcoming Friday, August 13th at Panda Express. Fliers will be going home with students this week, so be on the lookout. We will also be posting the flyer on the school website, kwes.org.
- Our website also has a few of our opening of the school year videos shown to the students. We encourage all parents to check them out as well.
- When dropping off or picking up students do NOT stop by the entrance gate. It is dangerous to the students and can cause a dangerous situation on Gulick Ave.
- Parents are asked not to go to any classrooms due to COVID. We were lenient this first week, but we must enforce the guideline in the future for the safety of the students.
- Our first parent workshop will be next week Wednesday morning at 8:00 am. Due to the current COVID situation, it will be conducted virtually. I will send out the link next week.
- Our picture-taking day is Tuesday, August 17th. Make sure your Keiki are dressed for success!
Again we want to thank you all for your continued faith in our school during this unprecedented time. We are doing everything we can to make the school environment safe, inviting, and fun for our students, and thank you for your cooperation in the safety measures we have in place for our Keiki.
