Aloha Lions Ohana,
Tomorrow marks our last school day of the year. Please remember that school dismisses at 1:30 PM and students need to be picked up promptly. All A+ services will be conducted out of room C3 until the faculty meeting is concluded at approximately 3:00 PM.
Most importantly, tomorrow is your last chance to do so if you have not turned in your borrowed devices. Please come to the cafeteria from 8:00-10:00 AM or 12:00-2:00 PM to turn them in. Any devices not returned, and their power cords, will be considered lost or stolen and parents will be charged the full replacement cost. In addition, the school will be required to submit a police report on each item as per the State of Hawaii technology use policies.
This year has been an amazing, crazy, stressful, and above all, challenging year. Your students, staff, faculty, and everyone in the Kalihi Waena community have gone above and beyond what we could have asked for. I want to say thank you all for everything. I ask that, if you are able, please thank the teachers and staff here at Kalihi Waena when you see them. They have worked harder this year than they had to in order to ensure your children have access to their classroom, a warm environment, and the caring people around them. We got through this together because, We are the Lions. We are the Future!
Mahalo Nui for everything,
Mr. Larkin
