Aloha Lions Ohana,
Now that students are on campus, things are getting busy! We have a LOT to go over today, so hang on tight!
- No school Monday: Due to teacher institute day, there is no school Monday, February 8th.
- Full Days: Beginning Tuesday, February 9th, our 4th and 5th-grade students who are in person will no longer have 1/2 days and will return to the normal bell schedule, but still on the A/B rotation.
- Picture taking: This upcoming week, Thursday and Friday (February 11th and 12) will be picture taking. All in-person classes will be taking pictures on their assigned A or B day. Distance learners will be coming to campus for photos after 11:30. Grades PreK-3rd will be on Thursday from 11:30 AM- 2:00 PM. Grades 4 and 5 will be on Friday from 11:30 AM- 2:00 PM. More information can be found at http://bit.ly/kwephoto21
and the order forms can be found at http://bit.ly/ACEorder. Order forms will be sent home with students starting Tuesday. Distance learners can pick up the forms in the office starting Tuesday as well. - January Challenge: The #healthychallenge is due soon. Please watch the video at https://bit.ly/kwejanchal
and send in your videos to Mrs. Bajarin - Spring Fundraiser: On Tuesday, February 8th, our spring fundraiser begins. Tickets will go home beginning Tuesday. Distance learners, please come pick up your tickets in the office beginning Tuesday. Please go to https://bit.ly/KWEspringpta
to see our flyer. - Attendance: This year our attendance has not been great. Please make sure to have your children come to school or log on. If your child is ill, please keep them home and inform the office of their illness. However, IF they are ill they can go online and still be marked present. That said, if they are supposed to be in person, and just don't want to come to school in person but do log in, they are still marked absent. If you have any questions about this please email Mr. Larkin at [email protected]
- A+: On Tuesday, February 8th our 4th and 5th-grade students A+ will begin. We still have space available for anyone who needs after-school care.
- T-Shirts and Masks: Our brand new school T-shirt design is available for purchase in the office as are our wonderful masks.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding in this difficult time. We deeply appreciate you all. Keep strong Lions. Remember, We are the Lions. We are the Future.
Aloha,
Mr. Larkin
