Aloha Lions Ohana,
I hope you all have had a wonderful start to the second quarter. We welcome you all back, virtually, and look forward to a great second quarter. Just a few announcements and reminders for today.
- The federal survey cards were sent to your houses last week. We need all of them returned to the school as soon as possible. You can mail them or drop them off at the office. Please make sure to sign them.
- Wednesday is an early release day so we can have our Parent/Teacher Communication day for teachers to have meetings with students/parents who may need extra help.
- Unity Day is this Wednesday. Please join us in wearing the color orange on Wednesday to stand up to bullying and support the acceptance of all people.
- Our awards assembly is coming up, hopefully, we will have it ready for Friday. Please be on the lookout for another announcement with the link.
- Spirit Week is next week. We would like all students to participate in our first spirit week this year, even if virtual. Starting Monday 10/26.
- Hat Day
- Glasses Day
- Wacky Day
- Sports Day
- Costume Day
- Pumpkin carving contests are happening. We are holding one for our school and the state of Hawaii PTA is conducting one as well. Stay tuned for details and check our website for ongoing information. www.kwes.org
We hope you all are doing well and hanging strong. Keep strong Lions. We are the Lions. We are the Future!
Aloha,
Mr. Larkin
